Designer, Instructional I

Overview:

This person will bring best practices within the industry to drive the Herbalife brand in collaboration with Project Managers and PM Specialists under the supervision of the Creative Manager.

Job Qualifications:

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Editing of eLearning courses using training software such as Articulate Storyline 360, Rise, Vyond, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Localization of training modules, including assets such as graphics, audio, subtitles, and videos
• Export and retrieve XLIF files from duplicated courses.
• Follow up with the Quality Assurance (QA team) to lead to the publication of distributor-facing projects.
• Ensure a correct User Experience through the implementation of learning platforms.
• Ensure the Herbalife brand guidelines are strictly applied in every asset & project.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of instructional design, and the linkage between design and learning outcome.
• Ability to design and develop new courses, from identifying main needs to full implementation and publishing.
• Basic notion of motion graphics and video editing using Adobe After Effects, Final Cut, Premier, and/or Vyond
• Bilingual English & Spanish (99%)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Acrobat and all MS Office applications
• Strong time management and communication skills to multitask and manage projects with overlapping deadlines and priorities
• Ability to work under pressure
• Deep and broad knowledge across multiple communication vehicles: Internet, print, systems-based design, style guides, advertising, video.
• Creative thinker with a passion for innovative learning solutions.

Experience:

• 4 years hands-on design experience
• 4 years of experience in Authoring Tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Captivate, Camtasia, Lectora
• Some experience in Instructional Design and Education Programs construction

Education:

• A BA, BFA degree in Instructional Design, Industrial Design, Marketing or related field from an accredited school or institution
